Green Valley Auctions Capstone System
My senior capstone project during my last semester at JMU was to design and develop a functioning online system for a local business called Green Valley Auctions. Green Valley's workflow at the time was scattered across multiple digital interfaces (as well as just on paper files) used for things like contacting customers, scheduling, and keeping inventory of their auction items.
Myself along with the rest of our 10 person team were tasked with joining all of those together into one piece of software. The project lasted about 9 weeks, broken up into 3 week sprints, where each sprint our team was presenting to the clients the progress of our system.
My main role in this project was front end developer. I coded all of the HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap JS across the entire website and worked closely with our Computer Information System team members to ensure it played well with the implementation of their functionality.
